Dr. Barbara Kappel
Board Chairwoman
Barbara Kappel is an Austrian businesswoman and former politician, and as such she can draw on a broad and thorough array of impressive career achievements and activities both in the business world as well as in political life. She has covered various positions in reputable organizations in the industry and in the public sector. Further, she has also managed her own companies, primarily active in the fields of technology, which emphasizes her outspoken entrepreneurial spirit. This is complemented by activities in the humanitarian sector, including an orphanage support project in Central and Eastern Europe. With regard to her political activities, she has served as a Member of the Vienna Municipal Council, Vienna Landtag, and a Member of the European Parliament. In this capacity, she has gained ample experience as a member of key committees in the fields of industry and finance and as a member of the parliamentary delegations with the United States, South East Asia/ASEAN countries, and the Arab Peninsula. Barbara Kappel holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Innsbruck. She has two children and speaks German, English, French, and Italian.

Nikoloz Gugeshashvili

Founder of “The Georgian Diaspora”. Active in strengthening economic relations between Georgia and Ukraine, with numerous successful Georgian – Ukrainian business projects.
He has actively supported and funded orphanages and persons with disabilities, as well as the, wounded in Ukraine. In 2017 he was given the honor to be awarded the St. Nickolas Award by the Patriarch of Ukraine. In 2019 was nominated as the man Ukraine is proud of “The Pride of Ukraine”. Through his contributions, the church of “13 Asureri Monks” was built in Tbilisi.
